    i have a fairly old garage, brick on one side and breezeblocked on the other, the roof is pitched but with the peak offcentre, the roof is timber supported and has corrugation over the top, with the shorter slope tiled over. at some point the garage was extended at one end with a small workshop making the whole thing longer, the garage is about 6m long with an addition 3m workshop on the end, and 3m wide total roughly. i’d like to replace the roof entirely as i’d like to place an array of solar panels on it as its roughly south facing and i don’t think the existing roof is suitable to do so.
