    Could I ask how much you charge to come and do samples? We had a survey done but I am not confident of their report (they missed the tiles). We have a block summary from our landlord (islington) that says that the kitchen ceiling is an AIB – but the survey stated that it was plasterboard. We want to install new light fittings and want to plan accordingly.

    I guess i would want a sample of the ceiling construction, which should be easy as it is open where the existing light fitting is.

    I would like a quote for removal of asbestos sheets from a domestic property. A builder has advised us that there are 4 sheets of asbestos placed next to a cold water tank. As I understand it, a section of one sheet has come loose. The builder took photos and showed me the sheets. However, he has not sent me the photos. The sheets seemed to be approximately 1 m 50com. The cold water tank is in the loft.
