We have some roof damage, please could we get an assessment and quote to get this fixed as soon as possible.

We live in an end terrace 3 storey town house with side alley access (width 2 meters).

We had a few displaced tiles + 1 tile come off our roof a few weeks back in winds 40-43mph. Our new build is only 10 months old so we are surprised a tile would fall off easily in winds not deemed as a storm (55mph+) by the Met office. Worth noting we had 2 windows cut into our brickwork and installed into the side profile of our house (W 124cm x H 116cm) a few days before the roof damage so we’re not sure if this was the cause.


Please email me for drone photos of the damage to our roof. The work looks inconsistent to me but I don’t have the expertise, please could you advise?

If our new build company is liable then we will claim this back from them later but for now we need to be pay someone to get this fixed before any more tiles come off or water leaks into our house.

Valley roof generally in excellent condition. However, lead lining of central gully was done improperly about 20 years ago, using sheets of lead that were too large. Contraction and expansion over the years have caused these central sheets of lead to crack leading to a leak. They need to be lifted off and replaced with sheets of correct size.
