    As picked up by a surveyor. The foil backed insulation sheets that have been fixed between the rafters retrospectively should be removed. This installation is restricting the roof ventilation to the rafters and roof lining which can lead to excessive condensation and eventual possible decay. It should not be that difficult to removed. The fibre glass quilt insulation laid between the ceiling joists should ideally be upgraded to a thickness of approximately 350mm to comply with current regulations.

    There are signs of blistering and dampness in the plaster, especially on the lower parts of the front facade walls and in some other areas. Additionally, the plaster on the interior staircase wall is completely waterlogged. So i am thinkin of Front facade and side wall external wall insulation and The existing house Energy level is D(55) and i want to learn what can be done to increase it to B (81-91) ( on EPC certificate is suggested tı increase loft insulation 75mm to 270mm, cavity wall insulation, floor insulation.. etc) I would like to hear from you first about a rough quote about external wall insulations ( inc Scope of work ) and what is your suggestions for increasing the house EPC level D to B Thank you ..

    I am looking to have the loft insulation in my house completely replaced with new. Needs 2 layers of thick roll insulation including lifting and relaying some boarding in the central area.     Quote for blown in loft insulation would be great. Thank you. The roof spaces above the 2 bedrooms are approx14.2m2 and 17.9m2 respectively. There are also 2 other inaccesable voids which we would like insulating if possible which are 3.8m2 and 1.4m2 ( bathroom and toilet) these are sloped ceilings in line with the pitch of the slate roof, so may not have enough space for insulation to be blown in. I am happy in the first instance if you could quote for the insulation above the 2 bedrooms for now. Thank you. Also, can I also ask what material you use? Thanks, Jenny
