    the job is to remove a chimney stack and replace an 11m long gutter on a rear extension to my property built about 50 years ago. the current gutter is attached directly to the wall rather than a sofit or even a back board. there is no overhang at the bottom of the roof. i think the roof should be extended 6-12″ at the bottom to create an overhang. the length of the roof that needs extending and the gutter that needs replacing is 11m. there is a brick chimney stack that contains the central heating flue that i would also like to remove and just have the boiler flue coming through the roof. the chimney stack is red brick and 26 courses from the roof to the top of the chimney. the roof is made from synthetic slates and is about 50 years old. access will require scaffolding. are you the property owner: owner of the property
