    The front room on the first floor is showing signs of condensation and mould. We were told this is due to condensation in the roof being quite bad. We have looked in the loft and found the lining is coming away from the timbers and is in poor repair. We have been quoted for air vent tiles and timber treatment at £600. We have also been quoted for a breathable membrane and treatment at £3500. We don’t really know what is the best option and what will stop the condensation best and if we need the lining replaced. We also would like knew facias as the current one are wooden and rotted. The house is a mid terrace built around 1850.
