    One large and one smaller loft over 1920s house, which has been extended to current size of four bedrooms. Large loft has had insulation removed and left in bags and other piles whilst downlights were put in bedrooms. I assume that the electricians just failed to reinstate it. What remains is the lath and plaster and joists, so the house loses heat very quickly. This bagged insulation needs replacing and another layer added to make up to 12 inches. One small part of this loft has not been insulated at all. Smaller loft has been insulated and boarded, but not fully. More insulation is needed here.
