I have a small leak where my boiler vent pokes out through the roof from my attic. During heavy rain, a dribble of water runs down the outside of the vent tube and drips down onto my insulation which eventually becomes saturated and causes a stain on my plasterboard ceiling. I have tried to seal around the vent with sealant but I can’t get the sealant tube to quite reach around the whole area, so I think it might be an external job to redo the lead or properly seal it from outside.
