    hi there!
    wondering if you could help. currently have builder doing our stand alone double garage/extension (12m by 7m rectangular footprint/ single story with 25degree pitch on roof) and he has quoted for job based on marley mock bond flat roof tile but we were keen to use a slate or mock slate if possible as we prefer the aesthetic and look of flat slate tiles and also ties in with neighbourhood better.
    obviously if it’s going to be far more expensive we would need to go with existing quoted tile however was looking to see what kind of price difference it would be to change to slate.
    from web saarches i am keen to price up the panadero spanish roof slate or similar type also heard of truslate. is this a good option? just so that i can get builder to order up if suitable. i have a few questions though.
    1. what are lead times for delivery?…our build started this week with foundations so would obviously need to know how long for delivery.
    2. are there any trade offers or price adjustments for larger bulk orders?
    3. not sure if you can work out rough prices – roof pyramid type going in at all four sides. on holiday just now and don’t have exact measurements or square meterage for tiles but i am waiting on builder to get back to me.
    more just that if i know lead times and that it’s not that much different in price to a marley mock bond tile then we could go ahead and i could then get the builder to do the order based on exact requirements. i can forward some drawings by email if you can get in touch. this might help with order size and price/quote. thanks
