I have a standard single garage with a corrugated asbestos cement roof. The sheets are structurally sound but covered in moss, and the overlapping joints are leaking in places. i’m looking to have the clay tiles on the main house roof replaced. they are the original tiles from 1912 and have become quite brittle. there is also no waterproof membrane under the tiles so from inside the loft there is alot of daylight between overlapping tiles. the house has had two extensions which won’t need any work. i was looking to replace with new small clay tiles like the ones that are on.

work description: the roof of our church is approx. 400 sq. meters. it is an arched/curved roof with concrete channels running the length of both sides that collect and direct the water to the down spouts. it currently has rolled asphalt and bitumen and then the channels and parapet walls are fibreglassed. the leaks we currently have seem to be coming from the channels and/or capping stones but as the current roof is about 30 years old, it seems best to replace the entire roof.
