    fixed along rafter centres with non-ferrous nails or staples at max 300c/c. Horizontal laps to be
    min 150mm, vertical laps to be min 300mm to occur over a rafter.
    Secure proprietary underlay support tray (150mm overlap) at eaves with all products installed in
    full accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
    Secure on treated sw FINK pattern prefabricated gang-nailed trussed rafters set at 600mm c/c in
    full accordance with BS 5268 (1985) with layour designed and supplied by truss manufacturer to
    pitch as shown.
    Ar gable condition 3 trusses to be strapped to inner leaf at 2m c/c along ceiling tie and rafter
    member with noggings in between to form compression member.
    100 x75mm C16 treated sw wall plate to be used generally strapped to inner leaf at 1,2m c/c
    with straps taken down Im.

    Good afternoon.
    I have a barn to house conversion which requires a new roof.
    Please can you give me a rough idea of how much this would cost?

    Details are:
    Two pitched roofs of med with a total area of 98.8 m2.
    Pitches are shallow-ish at 30deg one side and 15deg on the other.
    Eaves of both roofs are only 2.5 metres from ground level and both roofs are easily accessible.
    Currently roofed in corrugated cement fibre.
    I want to replace this with insulated, metal tile effect, red coloured, roofing.

    Cost should cover removing and disposing of old roof material.
    Fitting of new roof.
    New gutters, downpipes etc.

    I realise you can only give me a rough estimate until you see the property.
