    We are in the process of purchasing this property and have discovered the roof to the rear elevation has severe ponding. It is a GRP roof which appears to have been installed to replace a traditional pitched roof. The ponding appears to be caused because of inadequate supporting timbers. So that we can negotiate the price on the property we would like an estimate on stripping the GRP rear roof and returning it to a pitched roof. The estate agent says the whole roof is around 550 square feet and the GRP roof is half of the whole roof.
