    Around a week ago I had a leak from bathroom on the first floor to kitchen on the ground floor. Water was dropping slowly and I noticed that the whole ceiling started to swell up, so small cracks began to appear in different places on the ceiling. In order to avoid the whole ceiling to collapse I decided to make two small holes to release water. Even though it is dry now, there are cracks on it, which had been sellotaped for the time being. The Artex ceiling has been positively tested for presence of asbestos in a form of Chrysotile. The size of ceiling is about 3 meters by 3 meters and would require to be removed, and replaced by something different.
