    i have a standard pitched roof detached house (rectangular shape) and need to replace the underlay (currently old bitumen) and battens on the gable ends. the work involves replacing about 3 tiles inwards from the edge, extending up to the ridge. one of the four sides has already been completed, and i now need the same work done on the remaining three sides:
    two sides go up to the ridge (approx. 14 tiles).
    one side goes up to the chimney lead (approx. 13 tiles).
    there are white plastic bargeboards running along each gable end.
