    • a visual inspection of the chimney and parapet wall shows there has not been work carried out for several years. they are in poor condition.

    • the rhs party wall is not painted, the render has various colours, so likely part repaired in the past.
    • please provide a figure for repair and maintenance to both front and rear remaining slopes as follows, re-render/repair the party walls, check the flashings at the tile junctions and the dpc below the copings. repair as found required.
    • note there is water ingress on the chimney breast apparent in the front bedroom.
    • the lhs party wall has a silver paint solution applied to the render which can be seen to be cracked below the paint surface.
    • the back slope now has a timber framed dormer built over it. this has newer man-made tiles fixed to the side faces. the top surface was not visible. this may have a felt covering.
