Re roof rear slope, dormers and flat roof:
2.1 To strip off all apex ridges and clear from site.
2.2 To strip off old roof coverings and clear from site.
2.3 To denail all rafter backs.
2.4 To renail all rafter feet.
2.5 To supply and fit new permo breathable membrane.
2.6 To supply and fit new 25 x 50 tannalised roof battens secured using 65mm galvanised
fixings.
2.7 To supply and fit new zinc slate soakers to both parapet walls and bases of both
dormers.
2.8 To supply and fit new 24 x 12 man made non asbestos slates secured using 30mm
copper slate nails and copper discs.
2.9 To supply and fit new velux window slate flashing kits.
2.10 To chase out brickwork to both pitched roof parapet walls and fit new 300mm code
4 lead flashings, tucked and wedged into the brickwork.
2.11 To hack off all cracked and loose rendering to both parapet walls.
2.12 To supply and fit new aluminium render stop.
2.13 To coat brickwork using a PVA adhesive.
2.14 To re render both parapet walls using a mix of 3:1 sand and cement with added
water proofer.
2.15 To supply and fit new grey or terracotta ridges bedded in a mix of 3:1 sand and
cement with added water proofer.
2.16 To strip off old felt coverings to both dormer tops and flat roof and clear from site.
2.17 To strip off all rotten fascia boards.
2.18 To supply and fit new white UPVC fascia boards secured using 40mm white poly pin
fixings.
2.19 To supply and fit one layer of 3B breather felt.
2.20 To supply and fit one layer of technatorch elastomeric torch on underlay.
2.21 To cross lay one layer of technatorch elastomeric torch on heavy duty grey mineral
capping sheet (all laid in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines).
2.22 To chase out brickwork and fit new 150mm code 4 lead flashings, tucked and
wedged into the brickwork.
2.23 To point in newly installed lead flashings using grey exterior mastic lead seal.
2.24 To clean all porous areas to tops of flat roof parapet walls.
2.25 To prime over and allow to dry.
2.26 To supply and fit one layer of technatorch underlay.
2.27 To cross lay one layer of technatorch elastomeric torch on heavy duty grey mineral
capping sheet.
2.28 To clear all rubbish.
2.29 To leave sound and watertight.
