A surveyor’s report on my house noted several issues all related to the roof, but which I would like to have done simultaneously to save on time and cost. The house has three Chimneys, which require repointing. The two rear chimneys are unused and the surveyor was unclear as to whether they were capped, so they need to be inspected and capped if not already done so. There is defective Chimney flashing on the back gutter of the front left hand side chimney. This needs to be repaired and made water-tight. Some of the hip tiles and a few of the ridge tiles are loose and will require re-bedding. This was most notable to the front left hand side hip. The roof tiles have a minor amount of moss and lichen growth, this needs to be removed. The gutters need repair at the joints as they have minor leaks. The fascia and soffit boards to the roof edges was noted to be rotten in a few places and these need replacement as appropriate. There is also a very small porch canopy which needs repair to it’s hip tiles. Are you the property owner: Owner of the property
