Chimney needs attention……I’m moving to a farm cottage which has a coal fire. I tried to light the fire but there was a lot of blowback which filled the room with smoke. To be honest, it was an incredibly windy day and I didn’t have a ‘draw’ when lighting the fire. I’d just like it to be checked/sweeper before I move in February. If possible, I’d like a free estimate of the work involved please. The landlord is currently in America but he is aware the chimney needs attention before it can be used.
