    i am in the process of changing my holiday home into a rentable property. i am having to undertake several repairs to get this fit for purpose. i may need to remortgage or take out a personal loan i am still in the process of finding out which is best. as part of this process it would be useful to get an assessment of the roof. if it is secure then that’s great but if it is deemed to be in poor condition this may be a good time to tackle it. if it isn’t too bad i could gather in some rent and do this at a slightly later date when i have collected a bit of capital. i live in salisbury but i am managing this as a joint project with a local shetlander and i can provide contact details for you at a later date.

    Roof is cement tiles. Noticed slight seepage along underside of apex in loft. Mainly at one end of house. On inspecting roof, tiles appear to be sound. May be coming through vent on apex or may need re mortaring or sealing. Basically, find leak and fix it.
