Customer visited the myroofingquotes.co.uk site and submitted an enquiry.
Property type: House,
Roof type: Pitched,
Work description: My end of terrace has a large gable area clad in upvc ‘barge boarding’. I would like to replace this with vertically hung tiles to largely match those cladding my rear dormer. The triangular area is a 7.5m (25ft) base with approx 5m (16ft) to the apex [these houses have a steep 50 degree roof pitch] giving an area to be clad in tiles of about 18.75m3 (222sq feet/24.75 sq yards). In the middle of this area is an upper floor landing window 1.2m x 1.2m removing nearly 1.5m2 from the area needed to be tiled.
With the upvc boards removed I wish the area to be adequately insulated. I understand that a new/reinforced wooden frame/stud may need constructing to support the tiles.
I have 1.5m (5ft) of access at the side of the property for scaffolding.
