We’ve just had a survey back on a bungalow we’re buying in old buckenham. It suggests bituminous sarking felt be replaced with breathable membrane, it’s damaged in places anyway. Also suggest improving ventilation, removing a chimney and replacing soffits and facias as they’ve been fitted over old wooden ones. We also want some additional work once we’re in to renovate but at the moment need a quote to negotiate the asking price. We hope to be starting works in October/November.
