Our building surveyor (who completed a report for us) suggested that we confirm asbestos has not been used in the flat (in particular, as a wall coating in the kitchen area – which is bumpy in texture). Our intention is to remove a partition wall between the kitchen and lobby in any event – so we would like the asbestos check to confirm whether (a) there is any asbestos in the kitchen wall coating; and (b) there is any asbestos in the wall we seek to remove.
